I am trying to figure out how this blog thing works. I thought easiest way to do this would be to try setting up my own blog. This site will contain neat new stuff I am leaning about the ocean from my class for senior citizens at Linden Ponds in Mass. Did you know, for example, that we know next to nothing about the deep ocean (below about 300ft)? Also, a recent expedition to the deepest ocean trenches in the Western Pacific were recently explored. (see www.whoi.edu ). The deepest parts of the ocean are deeper than Mt Everest is high!!
